Do Not Neglect the Legs

When most of us are getting ready for the beach we focus on the pecs, biceps, triceps, back, abs and of course the tan. While working all of those muscles are important DO NOT forget to work your legs just as hard.

Sure, they might not be what you want to focus on, but your legs contribute more than you might think. Legs are about 50% of the body, so when you do a leg workout you are burning TONS of calories, which means your abs have a better chance to come out.


Also at a certain point it becomes difficult for your body to grow out of proportion. We have all seen those guys with the huge chest and arms, but 5th grader legs. Sometimes the best workout you can do to increase the size of your upper body is a good leg workout.

For maximum calorie burning and proper overall fitness remember to work those legs!

Here are some good workouts that can get those legs into shape.
Squats, Lunges, Leg extensions, Leg curls, box squats, leg press, running, frog hops, calf raises, riding a bike, or jump rope.
